Nothing too new to report here other than we are SWELTERING in this heat! We had bought a portable ac since we have weird windows and can't fit a conventional AC in it. It barely cuts it though. If you sit on the loveseat in the living room between the AC and the fan, you can get relief!
We had a very nice weekend at the lake for the 4th of July. The fireworks were beautiful as usual! Olivia was so disturbed by the noise though that she and I watched them from inside the house. We got to see Mom and Dad, Linds and Ang's pictures from Europe! Made me very jealous :-)
Pete was out mowing the other day and accidentally picked up a rock in the mower which chucked it through our slider. Luckily only the outside pane shattered and is still holding. We've been getting quotes to have the glass replaced. Unfortunately, the doors are all nonstandard sizes (like everything else in this house!) We have one more estimate today, then we can move on with getting it fixed! Of course, not only does nonstandard mean expensive, it also means special order which means a long wait! Ugh!
We're off to Timmy's 18 month check up today! Guess that means I should go get everyone ready!
